Inside the LC-8, the shading degree number will be +1 if the supplied color plate is set.
■When using LC-8(#10) Shading degree number
Before arc ignition: 3 (bright) ⇒ With color plate: 4
After arc ignition: 10 (light) ⇒ with color plate 11
◆Light-shielding glasses are required for people other than actual workers, such as visitors and passers-by.◆
There have been many cases that people who pass by the construction site or workers beside the welding works were exposed to harmful rays from the lateral sides and later suffered from eye swelling and pain.
In order to prevent such cases, it is very important to wear light-shielding glasses with side shields or eyecups.
Visitors and passers-by can also avoid these hazards by using light-colored shading lenses (*).
(*) Although it depends on the usage environment, please select the lens that best suits your situation, such as #1.4 or #1.7, which do not darken the field of vision too much.
